Thank you John, I also respect your opinion. Judy L <>< John wrote: Dear Judy, Don't worry. I assure you that we are not arguing. I am considering it as exchanges of opinions towards a more productive human being called "Ourselves". I respect yours, and I totally agree. It's just that maybe, you have seen the points that I am trying to raise in a different light. That's why I tried to make them more clearer. Thank You. Best Regards, JOHN HARVEY P. Only that we have people from many walks of life and various stages of growth in the Lord, including some that have not come to the Lord as yet, Therefore we may at time read things that make us wonder, about the groups Christianity. As far as I am concerned those that criticize just have not learned not to yet. Then as you say we may just have to have more tolerance with them. Judy L <>< John wrote: Thanks for your reply, Judy. As Molly put it, & it is also my intention as per my e-mail, what I stated is a constructive criticism. There's nowhere in my first message that I am putting down others. It was clearly stated that we should try to humble ourselves and not be judgemental to others. I'm also not saying that they are unbelievers. In fact, they have strong beliefs & faith in Christ. And that is where I am expressing my concern. What I am telling is this strong belief that others have might lead them to "judging" others who doesn't share the same. Let us not forget that we are created equal, whether you are a Christian, Muslim, Hindu, or practicing Judaism. To make my point direct: Let us all practice TOLERANCE to other, regardless of their faith. Let us make Christ our perfect role model. Let us humble ourselves to others. Let us avoid comments that belittle and judge another. Let us stop judging other's because of their faith. If other faiths are judging and mocking the Christian faith, let us bow our heads in meek silence and pray that through all of these, we are adding another glory to God. Let us make ourselves the least, so that we may be the first in the eyes of the Lord. Thank You. Best Regards, JOHN HARVEY P. TORRE Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Judy Wrote John, I understand your concern, but in a group this large there are Bound to be people that are unbelievers, with questions, and seeking help. There are bound to be many very young baby Christians in the Lord. The stronger Christians are hear as well, we try not to put down others But to lift them up, yet when it comes to outright sin, we try to use the Scriptures to guide the person to Jesus. Jesus himself spent much time with sinners, as they were the ones that Need help. If you go to any Christian church you will also find unbelievers. The sick are the ones that need the doctor, as Jesus said, the sinners are the ones that need the Lord. So we try not to judge their comments, but Seek to guide them in the way of the Lord. I hope that this helps you to understand the broad need of the people in This group. We are all sinners, saved by grace. Let us not forget our beginning years in the Lord. Judy L <>< John wrote: I am really wondering: Are the members of this group really "Christians" in its truest sense & meaning? Why all these judgemental opinions & self-serving observations? I have noticed that all of the comments on this thread are based entirely on hear-says & by giving comments such as these, little did we know that we are judging the man without basis, & by doing so, we are whispering amongst ourselves very much like the Pharisees & Saducees during Jesus' times... Christians are not supposed to be like this. We should not damage a man's reputation by silent whispers & we should not spread lies & rumors. Most of all, we should be careful about what is coming out of our mouths & what are we writing, for we are like spreading fire... True Christians should not spread bad rumours about a person, regardless if we like him/her or not. Instead, we should "pray" for God's enlightenment & intervention. A true Christian should be humble and place himself under those who govern them (government) I hope the members will not take it against me (if ever my message will be allowed by the mods). It's just that I think we are making self-righteous & irresponsible comments here... Thank You... In Christ, To join my email list, click here <mailto:jan@upallnig Graphic from group share.
