How is everyone doing? I have missed everyone, but I needed time away to deal with my own stuff. I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Psychology with high honors on December 18th. I was so happy that I started to cry when the President of my University personally thanked me for all my hard work.. It was like, "wow! Someone noticed!". I was the most decorated graduate.
Christmas was good but hard because I got very, VERY sick on Christmas day. It was my gallbladder flaring up. I was in so much pain! However, I am doing much better now. I am being careful about my diet so I don't make the problem worse.
I am working full-time now at a nonprofit Christian group home. The home contains 8 houses that house 64 full-time residents ranging from age 20 to 84. All the adults have varying degrees of developmental disabilities and/or other mental or physical illnesses. I am one of the house managers in one of the houses caring for the welfare of the residents. I work 2 weeks on and 1 week off. My shifts start at 330pm to 930pm and then 600am to 9am. So I am working 9 hours a day except weekends to go from 630am to 930pm. There is no break in between on weekends.
I just wanted to know how everyone is doing and give people an update on my life. Let me know if there is any way that I can I can pray for you..
