Re: [FamilyofGod] Temptation is a Round-Trip Ticket
or like the donkey with the carrot dangling in front of his nose to keep him going, it is always temptig to take a little taste of that doughnut, even tho you know its not good for you, but that glaze and that sweet taste.
scripture says to take the little book and eat it up, in your mouth it will be sweet but in your stomach it will be bitter. when you you read Gods word it sounds so wonderful, but when you put it into practice, you find it takes will power to keep going. like the doughnut sweet in the mouth but all the calories and fat are bad for the stomach.
GOD IS LOVEwanda
Prov.28:13- he that covereth his sin shall not prosper, but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them , shall have mercy.

Subject: [FamilyofGod] Temptation is a Round-Trip Ticket
Good Guys,
This week, I decided to look at temptation. Not that I have any experience with that. LOL. I hope my thoughts will be encouraging to you. Here's a little snippet. If you'd like to read the rest, just drop by the blog at http://thom-signsofastruggle.blogspot.com/
Temptation is a Round-Trip Ticket
It all begins with "T." Temptation. In the time it takes to buy a ticket on the temptation railroad, "don't go there," becomes "been there, done that." Then you find that while you enjoyed the scenery, you forgot to get the t-shirt, so you hop back on and you're halfway 'round the bend before you realize you boarded. Donuts anyone?
Temptation is like an eating disorder of the soul. Want . . . need . . . eat . . . throw up, and wallow in the misery of purging and swear you will never do it again. Wait . . . is that a donut?

God Bless,
Thom
