[FamilyofGod] Re: Prayer Request for Truth instead of Lies
Thank you for praying. My husband and I had our conversation, and only AFTER God had finished speaking with me after I lfasted and prayed. A lot of things were not as they seemed and we spoke openly of some things although not many (it seemed pointless with the new perspective God gave me). I think the important thing, by what God has shown me is that I need to remain faithful and submit to God and my husband and remain silent under persecution (my life is not in any danger nor my mental health) because my husband believes that it is my prayers that are convicting him and not God. This is why he "attacks" me so much, and why he won't move in or have me move in with him. The conviction is heavy upon him and he has a hard time dealing with it, and since he can't hurt God, he hurts me, which causes him more grief. God also revealed that he cannot have his desires fulfilled until he finds his desire in the Lord, himself. Even though I knew the theology, I never saw the entire picture before, but now that I do, it changes everything. My husband is being pursued by God and he is scrambling to hang onto the world by his fingernails as God pulls one way and Satan another. God is working on the inside of him and leaving him nowhere to run. It is really hard to run away from yourself, especially when God is always with you... now that is a funny image. He will not realize how pointless that is until he finally surrenders, and surrender he will. Ever wrestle with God: God 1Trillion+ : us 0.
Deborah
Oh Lord, hear my prayers and answer my cries for the marriage and salvation of my husband, our four children, our parents, our family, the Body of Christ, our friends, out leaders, our co-workers, and our enemies. Grant each one of them the blessed gifts of brokenness, repentance, confession, faith, and salvation along with sanctification and service in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior. AMEN!!!
"In the morning, O Lord, Thou wilt hear my voice; In the morning I will order my prayer to Thee and eagerly watch." Pslam 5:3
"Yet, with respect to the promise of God she did not waver in unbelief, but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully assured that what He had promised, He was able also to perform. Therefore also IT WAS RECKONED TO HER AS RIGHTEOUSNESS." Romans 4:20-22
"But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is thy faithfulness. 'The Lord is my portion,' says my soul, 'therefore I will hope in him.' The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul that seeks him. It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord." Lamentations 3:21-26

I believe that we cannot start our relationship in a new direction without
dealing with the lies and secrecy, whether beleiver or unbeliever. This of
course may not happen overnight but none-the-less, it must happen. God bless.
