[FamilyofGod] 'Faith vs. Fear: Are You Running Scared or Believing in God?' by Daniel & Debbra Sweet http://www.Gods-Word-First.org
This weekend, today and this upcoming week many people in the USA and around the world are talking about the events that took place in New York 10 years ago.
That event changed the way people go about doing daily activities. When it comes to how you believe, act, react - and walk with God, do you base your life on actions and choices based on Faith... or Fear?

Faith vs. Fear: Which Runs You?
The turmoil being caused in the world today on many fronts has many people running scared. The question is- are you?
As a Christian, we are to walk by faith (more accurately, with trust in God believing) - and not by fear. However, it is very easy to have our thoughts be misguided, impressed upon by worldly beliefs which can corrode our thinking to the point where we are walking by fear and not faith.
The Word (the written bible) is filled with instruction in the areas of faith and fear. It is up to us to work the Word, study it, learn it and hold onto the information God has so beautifully laid out for our learning.
The Word also speaks often of 'rumors of wars in divers (many) places'. It talks about famine, upheavals of people and the bad decisions people made - and the consequences that come along with it.
The great thing about God so graciously laying out his word in living history- is that we can study this - and learn how to avoid making the same mistakes others before us made.
We get to learn how to live victoriously- in any situation, any condition or amongst any 'disaster' that may be occurring around us.
There are a few key promises God made to us that he still holds up today. It is important for us as believers to really understand the depth of these promises- for with our understanding of the details of these promises, we are able to firmly hold onto them in order for God to bring them to pass in our lives- no matter what the worldly conditions are around us.
As most of the world goes around walking in fear this weekend, you can find peace and increase the strength of your faith by doing three things:
1. Study this article on Faith vs. Fear. Discover the promises God gives us to have faith (and not fear) contained. Study them so you know them deeply in your heart.
2. Share this information with others you know who are making decisions based on fear.
3. Increase your understanding of How to Walk with God and Increase your level of trust and believing in Him.
May you be blessed and walk in His way with much wisdom, insight and discernment-especially as people over the next couple days reminisce, have recall- and move forward based on fear.
Remember:God wishes for you to truly KNOW His Word- and this study lays down timeless instruction from God to build your walk on Faith.
Go forth and study, learn, know and do.
God Bless you abundantly!

P.S. Fear is the biggest tactic the adversary uses to keep you from being blessed and abundant. When you learn how to walk by faith (like referenced in paragraph 4) you will discover personal freedom, the peace of mind and peace of heart most people search for.

FROM THE WILDERNESS OF WAP!
"The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:
And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it." -Isaiah 40:3-5
