[Church_of_Christ] Re: Holy Spirit 3
Ray, ED replying,
George: Being "eyewitness to a miracle" changed Saul of Tarsus' mind. Why couldn't it change mine?
Ray: Saul of Tarsus believed the prophecies were for his day. Saul of Tarsus believed in miracles for his day. Saul of Tarsus believed Joel 2 was for his day. You deny all three are for your day. You do not believe in miracles in the 21st century. Therefore, it would be irrelevant to you.
ED: Wrong again, Ray! Read your Bible and you will see that Saul did not believe. In fact he was so convinced that he persecuted those who claimed these very things. He did not believe Pentecost was the beginning of Joel 2. He believed it was yet to be fulfilled. He did not believe in the miracles of Jesus or the apostles. Had he believed, he would have believed what they testified to. But Jesus provided him with evidence. Why? Because his heart was good and a good heart believes when evidence is provided. All we ask of you is evidence!!!!
